Yes, if the sync service exposes the folder normally through Finder and allows Markwise to access it. The sync itself is handled by that service, not by Pixelmere.

Markwise moves the note to the macOS Trash so it can be restored. Depending on your attachment settings, images no longer used by any note can also be moved to the Trash.

Yes. Visual mode styles Markdown while you edit it; source mode shows the underlying characters. Both modes write to the same .md file.

Markwise supports common headings, emphasis, links, lists, tasks, block quotes, code, tables, horizontal rules, images and more. It also includes wiki links and inline or block LaTeX.

Use double brackets to connect notes, such as [[Project brief]]. Markwise keeps a stable reference so links continue to resolve when supported notes are renamed.

Images pasted into a note are placed in the Attachments folder inside your selected notes folder, then referenced from the Markdown.

Yes. In Settings, Markwise can scan the Attachments folder and offer to move images not referenced by any note to the Trash.

Confirm the folder is available in Finder and that any cloud files have finished downloading. Then choose the folder again in Markwise Settings. Only Markdown notes are included.

Check that the referenced image still exists relative to the note and that the file is available locally. Reinsert the image if its path was changed outside Markwise.

Confirm the target note is still inside the selected folder tree. If a file was renamed outside Markwise, recreate the link so its stored reference can be refreshed.
