App privacy policies

Each Pixelmere app has its own policy describing exactly how it handles local content and system features.

The Pixelmere website

This is a static website. Pixelmere does not use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking scripts, account systems or marketing cookies on it. The site does not attempt to recognise you between visits.

Our hosting provider may temporarily process standard technical logs to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults. These logs may include an IP address, browser information, the requested page, and the date and time of the request. Pixelmere does not use this information to build profiles or target advertising.

When you email support

If you email Pixelmere, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use it to answer your enquiry, investigate the issue and maintain an appropriate record of support correspondence.

Our basis for this processing is taking steps at your request, performing our obligations to customers, and our legitimate interest in providing and improving support. You are not required to send diagnostic details or private content. Please remove sensitive note or prompt text from screenshots whenever possible.

Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the enquiry, maintain support history, meet legal obligations or establish legal claims. They are then deleted or anonymised.

Sharing and international processing

Pixelmere does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used for website hosting and business email, acting on Pixelmere's behalf. Providers are selected with appropriate data-protection and security arrangements. Exact provider details will be kept under review as the hosting and email services are finalised.

Cloudflare provides website hosting and inbound email routing. Google provides the Gmail destination used to receive support messages. These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom using the transfer safeguards available under applicable data-protection law.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to personal information Pixelmere holds about you, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to its use. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

These rights apply to information Pixelmere holds, such as a support email. Pixelmere cannot retrieve app content that has never left your Mac.
